American brindle
American brindle is a marking wich is linked to the Ay gene, dominant red. American brindle causes dark stripes horizontally over the body.
I got American brindle in September 2016 and I was actually the first in the Netherlands to get my hands on American brindle.
Unfotunately I haven't been able to breed succesfull litters yet, till now I have had a lot of bad luck with this project, hope the next couples will break the "curse"!
As American brindle is linked to the dominant red gene, you have to consider the lethal facts that are linked to the Ay gene. Ay is lethal when it is homozygous, that means when they get the Ay gene form both parrents and carry Ay twice they will not devellop and die in the mothers womb and will never be born.
